Following last winter’s very successful Community Supported Fishery (CSF) marketing project, Penobscot East Resource Center will again partner with fishermen to sell local shrimp direct to the public for ten weeks throughout January and into March at venues throughout Blue Hill peninsula, including Stonington, MDI, Ellsworth and Blue Hill.  Last winter we sold close to 6,000 lbs of Maine shrimp to 120 customers and this year we expect to sell even more as the idea of community supported marketing becomes better known and a popular way to support local producers while enjoying the freshest possible food.Learn more
